A Practical Anonymous Voting Scheme Based on Blockchain for Internet of Energy

چکیده

E-voting allows us to build a democratic business in most Internet of things (IoT) systems. For example, we may vote choose proper energy broker smart grid system. In this study, focus on e-voting services an (IoE) system, which is new-style grid. A practical IoE the properties fairness, decentralization, eligibility, anonymity, compatibility, verifiability, and coercion resistance. It difficult fulfil all these simultaneously. Traditional voting schemes often use public bulletin board or administrator process, makes them become centralized. Services that offer via blockchain can make decentralized. However, many ignore complexity organizing data transactions, should be confirmed by miners. Moreover, best authors’ knowledge, no works have tested performance while considering cases constraints. Concerning challenges, propose anonymous scheme for called IoEPAV. The proposed fulfils mentioned design goals We IoEPAV both different test networks Ethereum give overall evaluation. evaluation show easy integrated into real system like IoE. also gave comparison analysis with state-of-the-art blockchain-based e-voting. All results decentralized, verifiable, anonymous, highly efficient.

A Practical and Secure Coercion-Resistant Scheme for Internet Voting

Juels, Catalano, and Jakobsson (JCJ) proposed at WPES 2005 the first voting scheme that considers real-world threats and that is more realistic for Internet elections. Their scheme, though, has a quadratic work factor and thereby is not efficient for large scale elections. Based on the work of JCJ, Smith proposed an efficient scheme that has a linear work factor. In this paper we first show tha...

Using blockchain for enabling internet voting

Voting is an inherent process in a democratic society. Other methods for expressing the society participants’ will for example caucuses in US party elections or Landsgemeine in Switzerland can be inconvenient for the citizens and logistically difficult to organize. Furthermore, beyond inconvenience, there may be legitimate reasons for not being able to take part in the voting process, e.g. bein...

Towards a Practical Cryptographic Voting Scheme Based on Malleable Proofs

Mixnets are one of the main approaches to deploy secret and verifiable electronic elections. General-purpose verifiable mixnets however suffer from the drawback that the amount of data to be verified by observers increases linearly with the number of involved mix nodes, the number of decryptors, and the number of voters. Chase et al. proposed a verifiable mixnet at Eurocrypt 2012 based on so-ca...

An Anonymous Electronic Voting Protocol for Voting Over The Internet

In this work we propose a secure electronic voting protocol that is suitable for large scale voting over the Internet. The protocol allows a voter to cast his or her ballot anonymously, by exchanging untraceable yet authentic messages. The protocol ensures that (i) only eligible voters are able to cast votes, (ii) a voter is able to cast only one vote, (iii) a voter is able to verify that his o...
